Empezarás tu viaje en Grote Markt donde se ubicaba el antiguo puerto comercial, y caminarás por las calles donde la vida y el comercio de Brujas tomaba forma:
La plaza de la grúa; la antigua aduana; las casas gremiales de los comerciantes italianos, españoles, ingleses y de otros lugares de Europa; la casa de la familia que dio lugar a la Bolsa de Valores; el bar más antiguo de Brujas (1515); la sede la Hermandad de Nuestra Señora del Árbol Seco y su relación con el Toisón de Oro. Sabrás a qué se refería Anselmo Adornes cuando calificó la ciudad de Brujas como "Universidad del Comercio" y visitarás la Capilla de Jerusalén, inspirada en la Iglesia del Santo Sepulcro de Jerusalén y con una réplica del sepulcro en sí. Verás las Almshouses, una especie de pequeño beguinario exclusivo para mujeres viudas y conocerás la Hermandad del Oso Blanco, quien organizaban justas de caballeros en la ciudad. Verás las calles donde las bolilleras se sentaban a crear el paño flamenco, junto al actual Museo del Encaje. Te hablaremos del Gremio de los Arqueros de San Sebastián, del que formaba parte la Reina de Inglaterra.
Y, para terminar, conocerás los molinos medievales que aún se conservan desde el siglo XIII y que fueron uno de los grandes motores de económicos de Brujas (además de tener unas vistas maravillosas).
